Happy Friday! Before we dive in, it’s been quite the week, and our hearts especially go out to those in LA County amidst the wildfires disaster. While we're on opposite coasts, we did want to share this free resource that links out to various ways that we can help those in need over there (both humans and animals!).

Oh no is that snow (again)

After what seems to have been our 7 day free trial of living in Antarctica, there may be a some more snow heading our way on Saturday - but looks to only be a few flakes, shouldn’t ruin any weekend plans, and then we make our way back above freezing temps which is lovely after this past week. 🥶

• Hoboken or comedy central? A humorous weekend ahead:

  • Friday 1/10, 6pm + 8pm: Ken Pilates, the trainer behind Hoboken’s springboard pilates, is throwing a “Girls & Gays” Comedy Night @ 706 Washington St. Perfect for a group of friends looking for something to do other than “go out”. 🏛 Civic Buzz

• 💐Keeping Hoboken Beautiful: In efforts to upgrade Tom Olivieri Park (aka the “frog park” across the street from Walgreens), the City of Hoboken launched a survey to the Hoboken community to get insight on what upgrades we all want to see - love community involvement in these decisions, fill it out if you’d like!

• 🤢 Norovirus has been going around us and our kiddos. Follow these 5 simple tips to help prevent the spread of norovirus. 

• 🌲 Not rushing away your holiday joy but, when you take down your Christmas Trees, reminder that you can place them on the curb on Tuesdays & Thursdays after 7:30pm (after 9:30pm for Washington St.)

• We’ve tried MANY nail salons in Hoboken and The Nail Bar is a top favorite of ours. It’s always clean, peaceful and they are very accommodating. The owner, Angie, is wonderful. Just make sure to call for appointments, they do not take walk-ins, so give ‘em a call: (201) 459-1555. Permission to pamper!

You know what time it is… new Hive cinny flavor time. Drumroll please…

HOT COCOA CINNIES 

Have entered the chat.

And they’re available this morning at 8am (and the next 4 weekends in both Hoboken & Jersey City locations).

The Hive teamed up with NYC-based influencer @thecarboholic to create this delicacy that is hot cocoa & marshmallow infused cinnamon filling, hot cocoa frosting, whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and of course, marshmallows. 

Another creative touch: instead of the typical heavy cream that the Hive brushes their cinnies with, these special buns get brushed with hot chocolate right before baking. 

We’re running there this AM for a ‘lil treat before the work day… see ya there!
